Shower Host Gifts

Did those of you who have had a bridal shower get gifts for the hosts? If so, what did you get them?

    We got a nice crystal picher for my moms cousin who hosted the first shower. I don't think I'm doing anything for my BM's who are hosting the second shower. I would but I'm already spending a ton on their BM's gifts so I can't afford anything else. The gift they get at the wedding will include a TY for the shower.

    Yes, I will get something for the hosts. Not sure what yet. My shower is being hosted by my MOH and BMs, though, so it won't be anything excessive as I've already spent quite a bit on them and they're having it at my beach house.

    I'm not sure yet. The shower hosted by FMIL's co workers was very simple and small at a restaurant. Not a lot was done to prepare for it. I wrote the host a nice thank you note.

    I bought my mom a very nice bouquet of flowers on the day of the shower and I gave my sister a bottle of wine. They both hosted, but one of my BMs did my favors, so after the shower I purchased something from her HM  registry (she is getting married in June).

    I wrote really nice thank you cards for them...they wouldn't accept gifts from us at all...I was already told if you get us a gift we're taking it back & putting the money towards another gift for you...=/  can't blame them...i would have done the same thing...

    My mom & aunt are hosting a shower for me on the 20th and I was thinking of getting both of them a set of windchimes or one of those spiral thingys with the ball so when the wind blows it looks like the ball is going up and down the spiral thing.

    For the shower (hosted by my Godmother and personal attendant) I am putting together a basket of handmade Colorado goodies (they live in IA) things like a jar of honey, hand stitched tea towels, hand made soaps, teas, etc.

    For the Bac. party I'm doing little goodie bags for the attendees and then sending my MOH (who is hosting us all in her Manhattan apt.) Sherri's Berries and a bottle of champagne the week after.  (If you have not tried Sherri's Berries you MUST!!)
