Aww, thanks DazedandConfused! I'm actually super excited about being chosen because I love filling out surveys like this! Plus it's helping me to kill time at work!

    1. Your name & FI's name: Kristin and Brad
    2. Ages (met/married): met at 19(me) and 25 (wow that sounds young!) and will be married at 25 and 30
    3. Do you like FI's last name? Are you "taking" it? I am taking it. I like it because it's unique, but it's also a pain in the butt for other people to spell right! I am a little sad about giving up my super easy last name and all of the associations that go with it, but I'm too traditional to not take his name.
    4. Where were you born (city/state)? Louisburg, KS and lived there for 22  years!
    5. Where do you live currently? (city and/or state)? Denver, CO
    6. Where did you go to college? K-State!
    7. Do you root for any college/professional teams?all K-State sports, Chiefs (which is hard here in Denver!), Royals, and Rockies
    8. What was your major? Management Information Systems
    9. What is your current job? Computer Software Tester
    10. What is your dream job? Mail sorter at the post office (weird I know, but I've wanted to do it ever since going to Exchange City in the 5th grade!)
    11. How did you and your fiance meet? we met in a tennis class during a fall semester at K-State, he was dragged there by a friend and I needed one more credit to be full time since I had switched majors, we became friends and started dating by Christmas break
    12. When did you get engaged and how did he do it?? I count it as August 1st 2009 because that's what the engraved frame my mom had pre-purchased for me says, but technically it was after midnight so it was the 2nd. He has some family friends that run a lake resort in southern Colorado that we go to every summer with his family. We had plans to go there but we ended up starting the drive down there pretty late because I was dragging my feet (if only I'd known!). I fell asleep in the car on the way like I always do since it's a 3 hour drive and so when we got to the cabin and I went inside I just threw my stuff down after saying hi to his parents and headed for the air mattress we were to sleep on. But Brad asked me some random question and when I turned around to answer my parents and brother were standing there (a surprise) and he was down on one knee! A champagne toast followed and then everyone else went to bed! I was so wide awake though but I didn't have cell phone service, so I climbed a small hill and started calling people!
    13. When is the Wedding Day? Is there a special reason for this date? August 28th, no special reason, just wanted a summer wedding before football season
    14. Where is the ceremony and reception? ceremony at the catholic church in Louisburg, reception at St. Andrews Golf Club in OP
    15. What are your wedding colors? pool blue and honeydew green with yellow accents and I'm so very excited about how these are coming together
    16. Where are you honeymooning? the Mediterranean! 3 days in Rome, 10 day Med cruise, and then 3 more days in Munich for the start of Oktoberfest
    17. Favorite wedding vendor so far? tie between the photographer and florist because I trust them both so much and those were the areas I was most anxious about
    18. Biggest wedding splurge? my jewelry maybe in terms of going over budget or the cake in the sense that other people were a lot cheaper, but I liked her the best
    19. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't? more people! since we live in CO but are getting married in KC we didn't invite many people from here and included more family in the area, but I wish we had the capacity to invite more coworkers and whatnot
    20. Is there another knottie's wedding you'd like to attend? yes WhitneyKaye87 cause she seems to have it all together!
    21. Favorite book? Gone with the Wind
    22. Favorite movie? Remember the Titans
    23. Favorite tv show? Golden Girls
    24. Favorite wedding dress designer? overall, Alfred Angelo, even though that's not what mine is
    25. Any advice you can give? Excel is your best friend! If I didn't have lists and charts and spreadsheets organizing me every step of the way I don't know what I'd do!
    26. Anything you wish you could change about your wedding? More time for pictures at the church. We only get it for 2 hours before the wedding and a half hour after but FI doesn't want to see each other beforehand.
    27. Share something about yourself!! I'm eating up this wedding planning stuff right and left and I've loved it! I'm a little worried about what I'll do with all of my free time when it's over! Currently I'm still riding the excitement high from getting a Kitchenaid mixer from my Grandma this week! My motto: the little things make life fun!

I was the DJ at exchange city.  Epic fail on being a DJ.  LOL.  I'm a TIger fan myself but support the entire feline community.  Anything without feathers...ha.

My Kitchenaid is white. I probably would have picked the light blue one myself but my grandma picked it out for me and at least white goes with everything!

I love how other people remember their jobs at Exchange City too!

I'm jealous of your HM cruise!! We want to do that for either our 1 yr or 5 yr anniversary. We probably won't be able to afford it for the 1 yr since we're buying a house; instead we might do a New England Cruise.

Which cruise company are you going with? We're Royal Caribbean people so we'll probably use them, plus they've got some badazz newstuff on their ships.

I love your colors and we looked at St. Andrews in OP too - it is beautiful locaiton.  Too small for us though.  I also went to K-State and majored in MIS too funny!  Your HM sounds great - I've been to Oktoberfeast twice and I love it!  I love seeing everyone dressed up and all the great food and beer of course!
