Getting in Shape

another newbie!

Hi girls! I just started looking at all these boards on theknot and i love them.  I'd love to be a part of this board, so let me tell you a little about myself. :) My names Kelly, I'm 21 from harrisburg, pa and me and FI are getting married on april 27th, 2013.  We were going to have it in October of this year, but we just had a baby boy 4 months ago and figured it might be better to give ourselves more time to plan.  Naturally, after giving birth I wasnt exactly in the best shape of my life.  So after i gave birth I was 222 pounds and since then I have gotten down to 194 just by eating healthy.  I'd like to get down to 160 by the time i get married, so now it's time to buckle down and get to exercising!  I cant wait to get to know all you girls!

I also want to become a "real runner" but my body seems to really be fighting me since im quite top heavy and everytime i try to run i feel like so much weight is pulled in every direction.  I use "Noom" on my phone and I love it! It keeps track of your calories burned and taken in. And I'm sure I'll definitely be asking you some questions. :)
  • Welcome!  I weighed 209 when I gave birth to my son and got back down to 150 in about 9 months.  My goal now is to be in the best shape of my life at 33 and on my wedding day.  It can be done.
