Knot newbie needs help please - winery venue and vendors

We definitely want to get married at a winery.  It will be a small wedding - about 50.  I want intimate and rustic.  While I have contacted many in MD and PA, I am looking for real experiences please.  Also what vendors, specifically photographer, did you use?  It seems that the best photos come from the photographers who are familiar with the venue.  If you have any pics, that would be great too!  Thanks so much in advance!

I have been to a wedding at the Running Hare Vineyard in Calvery County. They used Maryland Country Caterers. They are very familiar with the sight and one of the top ones for the Vineyard. They also used Victoria Rose from Beautiful Rose Photography for the pictures, she is really good with vineyard shots and outdoor locations. I hope this helps.

LovetheBeach16, who is the mod for the Maryland board, just got married at Fiore winery.  I believe her photographer was Stephanie Miller - her reviews are posted a few threads down.

We were between Fiore and Liriodendron and ended up going with Liriodendron because it better fit the style of reception we wanted and DH had to have the woods there, but Fiore was very pretty.

Ditto the rec for Stephanie Miller - we used her and our photos were great.  She had worked with photos of our venue before but hadn't actually photographed there before.  She has photographed at Fiore though, and when we last spoke to her it sounded like she was hoping to get hired for a Fiore wedding again.

We used Dean and Brown for catering and probably would have used them if we'd gone to Fiore as well.  They were great and their prices were very reasonable for the area.

Whoops, totally forgot you switched venues, LTB.  I suck!

When we were looking for venues, we visited Linganore Winery in Mt. Airy http://www.linganore-wine.com/facilityrental.html. Its a beautiful venue and has a very rustic feel to it. The only negative to Linganore was that then don't have a liquor license so they won't allow you to drink anything besides their wine. No beer, no mixed drinks...just wine. So if you're a wine person, then it may be great for you!
