where in toronto can i get my measurements taking? i'm considering buying a dress online. the only places i can think of are stitch it or dry cleaners that do alterations but i don't know if they would take my measurements though. any suggestions?

You could call an independent seamstress (maybe check on Kijiji for dressmakers/seamstress). Call first to see if they'd be willing to do measurements and ask how much they'd charge.

i ended up going to stitch it in td centre. i called their 1-800 number and they said their stores don't do that. but then i called the td centre store directly and the manager said to come in just before closing time when it's quiet and she would do it. and she didn't charge me for it either : )
