Because I still need...
- a veil, jewelry, and a makeup artist.
- to pick ceremony music.
- to finalize our ceremony.
- find gifts for our bridal party.
- a caterer for the rehearsal dinner.
- to hear from 56% of our invited guests.

Okay. That isn't as bad as I thought it was. How are you knot ready yet?

haha you'll be ok, my "knot ready list" is the following

1. I have to haul everything I can with me on my trek to Charlotte, NC next week (I'll be down there for 5 weeks before the wedding)

2. 2 dress fittings, and have the neckline changed

3. meet with all vendors, and pay them off (this is the hard part)

4. finish decor for the ceiling hangings

5. get my veil from FSIL (borrowing hers)

6. send out rehearsal evites (working on that right now)

7. finish seating chart... if I ever get back the 50% of RSVPs that are missing...

8. decide on hair and makeup!

9. find a bracelet/cuff

10. pack for bachelorette party/charlotte...(i'm going straight from Nashville down to NC)

11. get the marriage license

I guess that's not SOOOO bad...

Ok, I think my list is pretty bad...

- finalize a florist
- find a bakery for our cupcake wedding cake
- book limo
- book a ceremony musician
- find a venue for the rehearsal dinner
- buy bridal party gifts
- make all final payments
- book a honeymoon (FI is in charge of this but he's dragging his feet)

Probably missing some things, but these are the major ones.

Star! Get on those vendors! Not sure what date your wedding is... but hopefully you'll get really good deals because you are booking so close!!!

My list is not that bad, but it still has me a little worried:

-Buy wedding favors for guests
-Finalize music list
-Get started on seating chart
-Final dress fitting
-Last vendor payments
-Finish fingerprint tree guest book
-Book honeymoon

...and I also think I am forgetting a few :S

1. Get my dress fitted, 1st appointment is on the 17th, as well as hair trial.

2. Find a makeup artists and have a trial.

3. Find a breakfast caterer and sign a contract/finalize all that jazz.

4. Decide on favors and order them/finalize them.

5. Finalize florist

6. Finalize after party MC, friend of ours.

7. Figure out day of food for wedding party and after party food.

8. Have final planning meeting with venue.

9. Get my straglglers RSVPS

10. Make seating chart

11. Make escort cards

12. Have cake tasting.

13. Finalize Rehersal diner.

14. Figure out ceremony music.

ahh crap, I have to print this out and get cracking.

- groom and groomsmen need suits (somebody, ahem, is dragging his feet)
- one to two more fittings, emergency alterations
- send off last few invitations
- make sure the fourth BM has her dress
- finalize ceremony
- get lavender and doilies (for tossing as we walk up the aisle post-ceremony)
- work on day-of intinerary
- figure out when/where for honeymoon
- finish sewing flower petal garlands

I'm getting a little overwhelmed.

Wow, now I don't feel like I am dragging my feet so bad now that I have read everyone else's lists My wedding is in 26 days and I still need to:

pick a hairstyle
finish seating arrangements
make escort cards
write vows
write flow for ceremony
finish making centerpieces
pick up my dress and fiance's suit from alterations (get both this week)
make final payment to caterer
get picture frame mat to be our guestbook (i'm having guests sign a mat to go around a wedding pic)

I think that is everything. Doesn't seem so bad when I type it out.
