Vendor help/suggestions

I am currently planning a wedding at pass a grille beach in St. Pete and need vendor suggestions as I live in Michigan. We are getting married in April and I still need help finding a resonable limo or town car service, a salon for my hair and make up as well as any restaurant suggestions for a small party after the wedding. If anyone could help I would apprecitate it! :)

  • Congrats!

We are getting married in April on Sunset Beach so staying very close to you!

For Pass A Grille, I would suggest checking The Hurricane which has three levels. The top deck is open air, facing the beach and has a tiki atmosphere. Or a small tapas place which has live music called The Black Palm. is also These used to have live latin music but not sure now.

There is also a restaurant/bar close to The Hurricane but I can't remember the name. I will see if I can find it.

    Where are your hotels at?

There are a lot of beach bars on St Pete Beach which is very close.

We aren't using limos because we are staying on the beach close to our venue. There are however beach trolleys. Many brides rent the trolley for the afternoon for the wedding which is fantastic for wedding photos.

Congrats by the way. I am marrying a Detroiter who relo'd down here. What is your wedding date?

  • I am also from Detroit. We are having a small ceremony at Fort DeSoto at one of their places by palm trees. We are having everyone go to dinner at the Hurricane afterwards. It is a great place. It is 3 floors, like she said. From the top floor and 2nd floor you can see the ocean. We are getting married on a Thursday so they said we could have the 2nd floor as a back up location if the weather isn't nice enough for the roof.
The Hurricane is right in Pass-A-Grille and is great.
We looked at The Coconut Inn for family/friends to stay at. I LOVE that place! So cute. Very cute mom & pop type place that is very clean and modern.
Let me know if you need any help with anything else in the area.
I am finalizying who I am using for hair/make up and for a florist now.
What area of Detroit are you in? I am in Sterling Heights.
  • I was just at the Hurrican restaurant this past weekend. I love the rooftop atmosphere and you cannot beat the gorgeous views. I def recommend them
  • Paradise worldwide for limo transportion, they are great. For hair Michelle Renee.

Thanks so much I will definitely check out the Hurricane. Sounds like a nice place! I haven't decided on where to stay yet but will look into the Coconut as well. Are you going to have someone come to you for hair/makeup or are you going to a salon? I am from the Flint area. When is your wedding date? Mine is April 19th
