where are you buying BRIDESMAIDS dresses???

I'm having such a hard time ... I want to find dresses that are affordable and in espresso brown - I've tried Ann Taylor, JCrew, The Limited, Nordstrom, etc. What about you?

I ordered through JCrew online. If you find one you like online your girls can go to any local J Crew store to be measured and they will also help you order them. Our experience was great, and we ended up getting the dresses for around $40 each. Watch for sales if you go this route!

    White House Black Market

One of mine bought hers from JCrew online.  We signed up for their emails so we knew when it'd go on sale.

The other got it from white house black market- probably not going to have a lot of luck with finding chocolate there though.  :)

The list you had in your OP is exactly what I would have told you.  Have you not found anything you like there?

I ended up having to go with a bridal shop after not finding anything I liked elsewhere.  I gdid get lucky and get $20 off per dress, but with tax and shipping they were still $160.

I'll third JCrew.   I got my bridemaid's dresses for $50, originally $225.  Definitely wait for sales!

I ended up going with a Jessica Howard dress from Dillards.  They also had the same dress of Overstock, but were sold out.

We got bridesmaid dresses from the same store where i got my dress- Ida's. They got a discount on the dresses since I had bought my dress there, so that really helped out with the cost.  A friend of mine got a dress for another wedding from Ann Taylor.  The dress was very cute but they didn't have a lot of size options. She had three options to pick from (to get the right fabric and color) and the smallest size they had was about 4 sizes too big for her so she had to do some pretty major alterations. Just something to consider!  : )

Our Bridesmail bought their dresses at Dee's Bridal in Blue Springs. She custom made them to our specs, and only charged us $100 each, as we had 5. They were perfect, and she met us outside of business hours. Her number is 217-7681. I would use her again!
