  I would love the answers on this as well, we are most likely using school buses, but I haven't heard great thing about First Student.

  I would call them directly and talk to them. That's what we did. Though they do not provide you with a contract.

  That's strange, because I am dealing with First Student out of West hartford, and they were quick and I received a contract to sign and send to them.  The woman I worked with is Nancy.    nancy.sprouse@firstgroup.com  860-953-2030

  
  

  Dattco won't rent uses to weddings because it is all adults (I found that ridiculous).  Other thing you can do is call the school department of Wethersfield and see who they use and whether they rent out those buses for other events

  New Britian Transportation, I go thru Rachel in the Southington office. Super inexpensive!

  I've spoken with Nancy in West Hartford 3 times now.  I keep getting told that "my contract will be sent out tomorrow."  Last time I heard that was 3 weeks ago.  It's just something I want to lock in and one less thing to worry about ya know?
