Help for a small destination wedding in the Keys

I would very much love a wedding in the Keys...I live in Tucson, Arizona and my parents live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania so we are both planning from afar. I have recieved some information from Cheece Lodge and Spa in Islamorada and their contracts seem to focus on large wedding parties - something that mine will not be. Has anyone had luck with a great venue in the Keys (preferably Key Largo or Islamorada) that is wiling to work with a small wedding of around 20 people? thanks so much!!

Some former Knotties have been married in the Keys and have suggested the following locations:

- Hawks Cay Resort

- Old Town Manor

- The Westin Key West Resort

- Marker 88

- Coconut Cove Resort

- Holiday Inn Key Largo

I love the Cheeca Lodge! It's a great choice for a venue especially for a small wedding. I'm pretty sure you can host small weddings there so my suggestion to you is to call and double check on that. Sometimes when you speak with the coordinator they can work with your situation. GL!

Unfortunately, Cheeca never called us back after multiple inquiries from our end. We removed it from our list - obviously we were chopped liver in their book
