Table Numbers Help

Hello!!
I'm getting married in an old train station with a really nice 1920s feel to it (hence my vintage theme). For the escort cards, I plan to make it look like an old fashioned "Destination Board" using the table numbers as the "destination.' I will be putting escort cards up on a chalkboard (ticket shaped) with their given table number. (Does this all make sense?)

I'm stuck on if I should just use numbers on the tables or something a little more creative?

Anyone have ideas/feedback? I don't want to get tooooo theme-y with the trains and all! Thanks in advance!

    We didn't want to use plain ol' number either for our Vintage Car Show themed wedding so I googled vintage advertisments for cars & came up with some amazing photos of different types of cars. So instead of being at table 1, you're at the Rolls Royce table. Instead of table 2, you're at the Thunderbird table etc.

    Maybe you can find vintage looking images of different train stations in destination cities? Instead of table 1, you're in St. Louis. Instead of table 2, you're in Chicago etc.
