Tux

All of our groomsmen are local, so there is no need to pick a national chain for the attire. Anyone have a local shop they can recommend?

What town is "local" for you?

We used The Tux Shop in Bayonne (I believe there are other locations) and that worked out well.

ETA: Oh, if you're near Jersey City then I'd definitely recommend The Tux Shop. It's on Broadway, between 32nd and 33rd Street, in Bayonne.

I think MH and his guys had a couple issues when they picked up the tuxes (tried them on and a few things didn't fit right), but that seems par for the course at most rental places. The shop fixed the issues right away. I'm not even sure what they were, since I had nothing to do with the tux rental/return process.

We used Hollywood Bridal & Tuxedo in Kennilworth and couldn't have been happier with the tuxedos. They were a great quality and they had a ton of vest colors to chose from. Highly recommend.

<div>Oh I didn't realize they did tuxes as well. Is this the place that will also alter wedding dressses purchased elsewhere? I am on the hunt for a good seamstress.</div>

That's the place! It's a family run shop and they do both. When you walk in you're immediately on the tuxedo side and then to the far right is the bridal side. We were very happy with them for everything!
