Second Line Cost?

First time posting on here, so sorry in advance if I'm skipping any standard posting protocols!

I'm planning a destination wedding in NOLA (we're in NJ), and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the usual price range is for a Second Line band?  Just trying to estimate so that we can budget accordingly.

    My wedding planner told me they run about $700. The total cost for a second line with required permits and police is around $1,000. If you have a band with a horn section you may be able to get them to come out and do the second line to cut the cost a bit.

    i would say approx 1200, our band is about $850 and the permit is about $350. so i'm sure you could get a cheaper band.

    We're paying our band an additional 1000$ to second line from our venue, St Louis hotel, to Pat O's.  There are also permit fees and you have to hire a/some NOPD officer escort(s).  Not sure what those are, though.
