  I had a make-up trial at the Jennie Kay salon and it was awful, i have never looked worst in my life and it was very expensive.

  So sorry to hear. She receives pretty positive reviews on here. Hope you gave her some feedback on your experience. If you are still searching for a MUA, there are other reputable MUAs frequently used on here. I met with 2 other MUAs including Krystal Treanor, who is popular on here but felt she was not a good fit for me as my make up did not last and I looked a bit too much like a porcelain chinadoll. My worst experience was at the Red Door Spa. The girl did not have any experience with Asian skin so she made me look pasty white. It was awful!  Finally, I met Sara Faella and she was the one who made me feel at ease and created a flawless natural look that highlighted my assets while downplaying my flaws. She was also less expensive than most of the other MUA but her rates have gone up.

  I used Jane Sincere and really liked her.  She travelled to our hotel in Newport for no charge.  She did makeup for my mom, stepmom, sister and myself.  She has such a great personality and really made us all feel at ease which is important when you are getting ready for your wedding.  I highly recommend her!

  For makeup, I worked with Kristen Blanchette at Cosmetic Cosmos.  She was divine.  She handled by mother, fussy mother in law, three flower girls, two bridesmaids and me in a day.  We all looked phenomenal.

  I used Kristin Greene for make up and Eva from I Do Wedding Hair and had phenomenal experiences with both of them. Eva doesn't get a lot of hype on here, but did an amazing job. Both came to us at the hotel.

  I used Jennie-Kay for my wedding and she was amazing!  I find it hard to believe that abercrombie6198 had a bad experience.  A couple of my friends used her as well and we were all thrilled with how our hair and makeup turned out on our wedding day.  She takes her time to make sure you look exactly the way you want.  I went in for my trial and showed her exactly what I was looking for.  She made my makeup look exactly like the picture at first and then even showed me how I would look if she made my eye shadow slightly darker. I loved it!  She is also so much fun to have around you on your wedding day.  She is definitely not over priced for how talented Jennie and her team are.  I would highly recommend her to anyone!

  Hi everyone,
  I am getting married in 25 days...yea!!
  I am having my hair and make-up done by Jennie-Kay with Jennie-Kay a Beauty Parlour.  I came to this salon first to get my hair back in shape...Jennie fixed my color, cut, and overall hair condition.  I liked the option that I could come to the salon in Middletown/Newport or have her travel to me at the Hyatt on goat island.
  Jennie-Kay and her team are doing my entire wedding parties hair and makeup.  Jennie's great personality has made me feel at ease during the wedding planning process.
