WR: 1. Top three favorite things about wedding planning. DIYing centerpieces, looking at pretty dresses, being girly with my bridesmaids

Glitter pumps! They're peep-toe with multi-colored glitter.
3. Indoor or outdoor ceremony? Indoor
4. Most significant/special detail about your wedding day? (i.e. the venue is where you two met, the colors are a combo of his and your likes, etc.) I don't have many details yet, but so far it's that my 'something blue' is my class ring. FI and I met in college and we'll each be wearing one.
5. Veil or not? Veil!
NWR: 6. What was the best part of this weekend so far? Going to a "Winter Wonderland" fair/carnival/Christmas market.
7. Any furbabies/babybabies you wanna share pictures of? I wish. FI and I live in a little apartment and have moved a lot in the past two years, so no furbabies even.
8. When was the last time you got dressed up? Why? Oof, I don't remember. I don't dress up much.
9. What's for dinner tonight? Chicken korma and tikka masala with pilau rice.

Almost everything. I like coordinating everything, the meetings, etc. I like coming up with ideas for DIY projects. I wish I could do this for a living!

Haven't started thinking about shoes yet? I like the idea of sparkly though

3. Indoor or outdoor ceremony?
Indoor, at our church. This was very important to FMIL.
4. Most significant/special detail about your wedding day? (i.e. the venue is where you two met, the colors are a combo of his and your likes, etc.)
Not sure yet? So far, I'd say our unity candle - which is a candle that FI gave me our very first Christmas together, as freshmen in high school.

We went to a Christmas party for FI's work and I finally got to meet a lot of his coworkers I've heard so much about. Loved them!

Hmmm... A funeral in September? It doesn't happen often enough.

So far I'd have to say going to tastings, trying on dresses, and touring venues thinking "OMG we are getting married at one of these places!".

2. Will your wedding shoes be colorful, sparkly, and/or shades of white (i.e. ivory shoes)? Please describe

I asked because I dunno what I'm gonna do! I wanted really colorful ones for a while, then I thought I should pick more practical shoes so I will actually wear them after the wedding. Today I'm leaning towards beige colored shoes.

3. Indoor or outdoor ceremony?
Outdoor. I was sooo against this before actually selecting the site. Now I'm so excited to get married under some shady trees

4. Most significant/special detail about your wedding day? (i.e. the venue is where you two met, the colors are a combo of his and your likes, etc.)
So far I think the most special detail is that we are getting married in a place that reminds me of how much of Virginia I have experienced with my FI. I really love this place and I'm excited to start our family here.

5. Veil or not?
Veil. I have conflicitng feelings about this because part of me wants to avoid wearing one because I feel kind of goofy, but if I know myself--which I think I do--I'll regret not putting on the whole shpeal as a bride, because it didn't orginially feel like "me". Yeah, on a regular day you would not catch me wearing one, but on my wedding day you will!

6. What was the best part of this weekend so far?
Having such a good time at a holiday party. FI is a fun date and I think I am too!

Nope. I wish I had something furry and cute of my own to share. Here's some body else's cute furbaby!

The party yesterday. I love the rare occasions when it seems important to have my nails painted and just the exact right accessories.

9. What's for dinner tonight?
My parents are having us over. I have no idea what is on the menu but I'm puuuumped not to have to cook myself. And it'll be nice to see them.

I bought new dress pants from the GAP on Black Friday. I got a deal but I will have to return them because they aren't exactly what I am looking for. Such a bummer. Colorful! I don't have them yet, but I plan to dye them to match the fucshia bm dress!

WR: 1. Top three favorite things about wedding planning. The planning/organizing - I'm an event manager by trade and intend on going into this as a personal business so this is great practice! Getting closer to my MOH and playing with the wedding website

I'm not wearing shoes down the aisle! I"ve always wanted to go barefoot, so I am! For the reception I'll find some slippers to wear I'm sure.

(i.e. the venue is where you two met, the colors are a combo of his and your likes, etc.) Right now I think it's going to be our vows, or perhaps that my good friend (a pastor) has agreed to read at my wedding. I wanted him to officiate but unfortunately due to his restrictions and FI's nonreligious ways he's not going to. But this is our compromise. The other tough runner up is perhaps the fact that my mom is giving me my grandparents' engagement ring to wear for the day - as my something old (or borrowed.)

Pardon the mess, but it was a rare moment to capture both cats at once! Mischief is on the left, Jinx (who is almost never out and about) is on the right.

8. When was the last time you got dressed up? Why? Probably for our engagement photos and that wasn't really TOO dressed up. I got a little more dressed up for our anniversary in August. Sad, I like dressing up.

1. Top three favorite things about wedding planning. I enjoyed dress shopping, and the graphic designing (STDs, invites) and the DIY parts.

2. Will your wedding shoes be colorful, sparkly, and/or shades of white (i.e. ivory shoes)? Please describe
My shoes are Badgley Mischka "Lyndee" in rose. They're a light pink with a flowery delicate bud on the toes. They're wedges since we're having our ceremony on a lawn.

3. Indoor or outdoor ceremony? Outdoor, on the lawn of our venue.

4. Most significant/special detail about your wedding day? (i.e. the venue is where you two met, the colors are a combo of his and your likes, etc.) There's a lot of significant details for different reasons. We're serving beers & wines that have memories for us, our menu is based entirely around our favorites & trips we've gone on together. My sash on my dress will have a brooch that my grandfather (who passed away, and will be my only grandparent not at my wedding) gave to my grandma. My engagement ring is made with the diamond from my Mom's grandma's engagement ring. It's all about the symbolism!

5. Veil or not? Yep, I've got a cathedral length veil!

9. What's for dinner tonight? Whatever FI makes. I'm a spoiled, spoiled woman! I love cooking and am really VERY good at it, if I suspend modesty for a minute, but he's REALLY good and always has a hot meal waiting for me by the time I get home. He usually has the dishes done, too. I won the FI lottery!

Pink to match my girls dresses!

The pearls that I will be wearing are passed down from my Greatgrandparents. And we are choosing to do parm crusted chicken for our meal because it's mine and my FI's favorite meal!

Getting to have a few relaxing nights with my FI before this finals week started.

I don't have any right now (parents have some cute ones) but my FI and I will be getting a kitty shortly after we get married and then a pomeranian shortly after that.

For my sororities semi-formal. It's a night of dancing, dinner and drinks with my sisters and my FI as my date!

Popcorn at the movies. We are going to see Happy Feet 2!
