I would like all of your opinions about this. My friend went on a "ketosis" diet meaning that she only had 30g or less of carbs a day. She would eat high fat and only certain fruit with lots of cheese as well. She lost 70LBS in 9 months and she says she has never felt better.
A mutual friend of ours that she recommended the diet to has been doing it for a few weeks and he says he feels great as well but no weight loss yet.
I've been reading online that this diet MIGHT be dangerous. It says that could cause kidney failure, etc. But I've also read that this is what the Inuits use for a diet and they live long and very health lifes.
Has any one heard about this diet? Any opinion on it?
