Hey Knotties.... Need some help.  As most of you, we're on a tight buget.  I just had a rude wake up.... can't believe the price of photographers.  I'm scared to see what the DJs charge.  Any suggestions for a budget friendly photographer and DJ?  As always, thanks for the help!

    Wedding combo.  They are based out of Clifton Park.  They do photog, video, dj (any or all) for so much cheaper and they are very good.  My package is about 3500 for all 3!  Great reviews online, wonderful people when you meet them, and their work is great as well.

    I highly recommend our photographer, Kim Coccagnia (www.kimberlycoccagnia.com).  She was very reasonably priced and wonderful to work with before, during and after the wedding.  Our DJs were wonderful, as well, though you might be able to find cheaper (I think we paid about $1600).  www.thedjsolution.com

    check out big apple photographer - you can get dj, photog, and videog all through them and very cheap!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I'm so stressing this.  Pics are so important to me but the music can make or break the reception!  Thanks again for the suggestions.

    We are using DJ Domenic for our wedding. A friend of mine used him last summer. He is very nice and personable, and very affordable! He has a website under DJ Domenic or if interested just let me know I can give you his email. He only cost $1185 for a Friday night, not sure about Saturdays.

    What I really liked about Domenic is that he is very noninstrusive and just really whatever you want it what its about!

    The music was the real reason we went to Big Apple - we couldn't have been happier - our dance floor was packed all night long! It was just a pleasant surprise to find out we could get photog/video throug them too! check them out.

    Our Photographer is LB fotos; Linda Bernadic. lbfoto.com Our package was $950 and that included her & her husband for 6 hours. A photo album, 150 printed pictures any size and a dvd of our pictures also available online for all of our family to view. She is very creative.

    Our DJ was only $1,050 his name is Kenny and it's DJ Sound Wizards. http://djsoundwizards.com/ We saw him at one of our friends weddings and he was amazing. That price includes the light show the ceremony and the reception 6 61/2 hours.

    I am assuming by your post my photog would be out of your price range.

    but, my dj was $1200 (i won a $200 off thing so got him for 1000) and he was amazing.  he had everyone dancing the whole night....DJ Bri Swatek www.spinningwithstyle.com. another dj we looked at was DJ Frances and Danielle...I believe she was 850...i liked her but clicked with Brian better.

    have you looked into The DJ Company?  I used them for uplighting, and they were extremely great to work with and provided the best price out of everyone I looked at.  I would give them a call and just see where they are at in regards to prices.

    For my DJ I used Jimmy Dee.  It cost about $1500.

    I second KTwed- I also used Kim Coccagnia, and couldn't be happier.  The best part about Kim, is that she was so reasonably priced!!

    Check out the DJ Company - I think their packages start at $900.  We used them, our DJ was Tom, and he was GREAT!!

    Photog - check out Kimberly Salem.  Her packages start around $1500 and her pictures are really fantastic.  She just posted a sneak peak of our pics :)

    Another vote here for DJ Bri! He was great!

    Photographers will have such a range of prices based on their experience and packages.

    But you should be able to get a DJ (some even will include some lights. Ours did:)) for anywhere between $1000-$1500.
