We went with Deswert Productions.  Wayne is so awesome and the best price I found!!  http://deswertproductions.com/ My fiance loved him, our personalities really fit well together.  He is definitely worth a look. Good luck.

All I can tell you from experience, is who NOT to use, which is who I used... Taylor Courtney Productions.

I've heard that Birdhouse Productions is fantastic, and does great work.  Unfortunately, Natalie from birdhouse was booked on my date, so I have no actual experience with her.

We used BC Productions Entertainment for our wedding videographer a couple of years ago. We were very pleased in working with them from start to finish. E-mail is videomovieguy@verizon.net or their website is http://mysite.verizon.net/resvk478/

I researched all over the area and could find a great photographer for a good price and package.
I found Chris Hayes Photography from Shelfont, PA. Chris travels to the Lancaster/Harrisburg area for no added travel cost. He is always on time for his appointments with me. He is usually even 10 mins early or more.
He did our engagement pictures (see link in my signature at bottom of my post) and is doing our wedding pics.
His packages come with so much in them!
    Check him out:

When choosing a photographer make sure  you get the digital rights to your photos so you can print them for cheaper at CVS,etc or post them online for family to see.

we just booked sugar leaf films today! I am so excited about them - they do great work and I've been a fan for a long time.

The film is one of the most important things for me (more so than photography), but Sugar Leaf has an option that is a little bit more affordable and budget friendly for us (a highlight film with some documentary enhancements).

I looked at Birdhouse Production (I agree, they do phenomenal work), but they were really out of our price range.

I looked at a lot of different places, and found Sugar Leaf to be the most affordable for the talented work you get in return. They really are gifted.

I was look at Deswert Productions. Which package are you doing if you dont mind me asking? I wanted a videographer but really just wanted some highlights or a little something for the future. I dont need a full scale production.

    Thoughts?

We also used BC Productions Entertainment a few years ago and loved working with Brad. Highly recommended!

I used Deswert and Wayne was late for my wedding, so I don't have a video of my wedding!! I just have a 4 hr video of my reception in which he missed my Mother entering the hall.

I am very flattered by the compliments I received in this forum. crcklw2, it was an absolute pleasure filming your wedding! And mbooks22, I look forward to filming your wedding in July :)

To address the last poster: You know, as well as I do, that you changed the time of your ceremony and never informed me of the change. My contract with you had the ceremony time listed as 4pm, I arrived at 3:20pm only to find out then that your start time had changed. You, yourself, stated that you never attempted to contact me via phone or email to inform me of the change OR to confirm that I had received your mailed post-it note stating the change. I think it is very unfortunate that you would come onto a forum and badmouth my company simply because I refused your request for a refund for your own mistake.

I apologize for the nature of the latter part of this post but felt I needed to defend myself and my company.
