Small wedding struggles

I am trying to plan a small 50-70 person wedding in Southern NH and am having trouble finding the right venue.  I would like something fairly inclusive, but whenever I visit inclusive venues they seem to not be interested in catering to such a small event.... Does anyone know of any beautiful locations for a fall outdoor wedding in 2012 that has an indoor reception area willing to accept small parties?

I am getting married next week at the Granite Rose in Hampstead and they have been wonderful to work with. We are having our ceremony outside in their Embassy Garden with our reception inside in the Embassy room. They have 2 different rooms with attached gardens, Embassy and Terrace and can accommodate groups of varying sizes. The Terrace room is a bit smaller and might be more of what you are looking for.  We have been working with Erin and she has been very helpful.  Hope that Helps! GL!

Have you looked into the Executive Court? I am getting married there this October. They have a beautiful outdoor garden for the ceremony. They also have all inclusive packages which include the cake, floral centerpieces, chair covers and sashs etc. The people there have been great and the food is very good.

It's not really southern NH, but there are two choices in Concord that could work:

We went through the same thing!  We are having a similar sized guest list and had a hard time finding the type of venue we wanted that would accomodate a smaller wedding.

Have you considered the Bedford Village Inn?  It's beautiful and from what I've heard they do a great job with weddings and can cater to a smaller wedding.

    Good luck with your search!

Not quite Southern NH but we're getting married at Pats Peak in Henniker.

We had our reception at Candia Woods in Candia NH.  They do offer outdoor ceremonies.  We ended up with about 83 people at our wedding and they were fine with it and it didn't look empty in the space at all.

My reception is at Alpine Grove in Hollis, NH and the room I'm in has a max of 110. The chapel I'm getting married at is the Alvirne Chapel and again the cap for it is 100.

I know Alpine Grove does outdoor ceremonies, and the grounds are beautiful, especially in the fall.

Have you looked at Promises to keep in Derry NH? I'm also getting married in October 2012 and thats the venue we chose. They have 2 rooms, the ballroom and the Atrium. The Atrium would be very nice for a wedding of that size. We were going to use that room but we have 115 people and it just seemed to small for us so we went with the ballroom. You can use their gazebo for your ceremony, and the grounds are very well kept so you don't have to order flowers for the ceremony because they have it all taken care of. We were very satisified with the priceing, and Ron was very helpful durning our tour.

I think Granite Rose is in the lead right now!  When we went there though, they said we had to have a minimum of 70 people.  My fiance is from the mid-west and not a lot of people are coming from his side... although I suppose guest lists tend to grow quickly!
