Wedding by the Water!?!?

I'm desperately searching for an AFFORDABLE outdoor wedding venue in NC with/near water!  Be it a river, lake, big pond, or ocean... Any suggestions would be much appreciated!  (We approximate 200 guest will be attending, possibly 150, if that makes much of a difference.)
THANK YOU! :o)

What part of NC and what's your definition of 'Affordable'?
Do you want it completely outdoors, have a shelter, or have a building nearby?

No idea where you are in NC, but I got married by a small lake in a "barn-like" setting in Raleigh.  http://www.thepavilionsattheangusbarn.com/  Let me know if you have questions.

Thanks for all the replies!  I live in the Raleigh/Durham area and my fiance lives near Asheville, and our familes are spread everywhere in between - so either way, people are going to have to travel.  Of course my mom wants to do it close to home, but I'm willing to go anywhere..

I saw someone getting married at the Fort Fisher park (right near the water). Don't know what their fee is, but I doubt it's much. And then you could have your reception at the aquarium. That would be fun!

You have lots of good suggestions here. I'm sure they are all beautiful. Have fun deciding.

I'm getting married at Rumbling Bald Resort in Lake Lure.  FI and I never imagined getting married outside because I am super paranoid about the weather aspect  and he's super hot natured but they have a great backup plan (and I convinced FI September wouldn't be too hot there...although I'm not so sure with as hot as its been for 2 months now...)  Weather pending we will be down at their gazebo and our reception will be on the terrace overlooking the lake.  If it rains they will move chairs to set up for the ceremony on the terrace and reset for the reception so you are still overlooking the mountains and lake.  They include their floor length linens, chairs, tables, etc and are pretty flexible with their menus.  If you opt for the earlier afternoon wedding you save a ton of money.  One thing I wouldn't budge on was that I wanted evening which is pretty costly in season.  The gazebo on the lake is beautiful...you get mountains and lake all in one.  Most of my friends, family members do like to partake in adult beverages and we have several condos rented out between wedding party members, family members so it was fairly cheap to accommodate everyone and I don't have to worry about people driving off after the reception.  It was the perfect venue for us!
