programs: help a girl out

I have NO idea what informaton to include on our programs. Any tips? Whats on yours?

To be noted: wedding is super small. we are going down the aisle together. Kids are walking down before us. no one else is officially walking down the aisle.. well, except the one BM and one groomsman.

  • I decided to DIY my programs. It's including- Our names, the date, the location. Then the order of our ceremony, followed by the members of the bridal party (officiant, moh, best man, bridesmaids, groomsmen, ring bearers, parents & grandparents), then a section of "special thank yous". I used that area to basically say thanks and tell everyone how much it means to us for them to be part of our day. I also included at the end that the reception would follow in the lodge and there would be snacks and drinks until lunch is served.

  • I didnt feel like spending money on paper that will just get thrown away, so I am just doing a large chalkboard in a pretty frame and staging the area where everyone will enter the ceremony site.
    Something pretty but simple.

  • we are doing small program fans b/c it's a may wedding in texas, so the fan part makes it totally worth the $14.00 we'll spend making them. LOL I think i've figured out the front of them, just need to think of something cute for the back.
