I know this isn't exactly where it is suppose to be but does anyone know how many people/ tables fit into a 20 by 40 tent? I have 6 ft tables and 130 people.

    I'm having an outdoor wedding and here's a quick and dirty breakdown from our venue:

    20' x 40' tent: 80-96 people
    30' x 30' tent: 72-96 people
    40' x 60' tent: 100 people
    40' x 80' tent: 150-200

    These estimates also account for the space you'll use for a bar area, food tables, and dance floor. We're looking at appx. 175 guests, so we're renting the 40' x 80' tent. I know when we were booking, the coordinator said that for a wedding of 125, they'd combine a smaller tent (either 10' x 20' or 20' x 20') with the 40' x 60' tent. Hope this helps!!

    I'd google or call the company. Is six tables enough for 130 people (I'm sure it is, I'm just curious about what size tables you got)? I'd also suggest the "outdoor" board. They might know better.

    Figure your table plus 18 inches on each side.   an 8' table fits 8 people using both sides 10 if you use the ends.
