  I got married October 17, 2009 and it was in the 30's rainy with a trace of snow!  But the leaves were half green , but half colored, it was a really nice mix.  I think in MD, the weather is unpredictable at anytime of the year!

  I got married October 24th.  The leaves were perfect.  Unfortunately, every Saturday (for the most part) this past October rained.  So our outdoor photo shoot, was cancelled.

  I got married October 10 and the weather was just about perfect.  It was cloudy with a chance of rain in the morning but cleared up for the most part in the afternoon.  OH, and it was in the mid-upper 60s.  Perfect for pictures.  And I don't think the leaves had started to turn yet.

  As you can see, October in MD is generally a good bet, but you never know. I got married October 11, 2008 and it was 72, sunny, and absolutely gorgeous. I could not have dreamed up better weather for that day. The leaves had not changed yet, that's usually late Oct/ early Nov.
  
  But you never know...if any 10/25/08 girls pop in here, they will tell you about the monsoon they had for their day. Definitely have a rain plan no matter when you're getting married!

  That would be my group.  Maryland is always unpredictable; and October is far from an exception.  10/25/08 was an absolutely fabulous day - but it poured, and I mean POURED, all. day. long.
