Okay, I know that there have been a bunch of posts about fathers not walking their daughters down the aisle. Mine is not. He will be in attendance but my best friend is walking down the aisle with me. Long story short: we're working on our relationship and I'm glad he's going to be there, but I'm also glad that he's not walking with me. My question is: Do I have to do a father/daughter dance with him? My FI is definitely going to dance with his mother, and I don't want to take that away from him. Would it be strange for me not to dance at all? Would it be weirder if I danced with the same friend who is walking me down the aisle (he's a male)? I don't know the etiquette on this and didn't know if maybe someone else had to deal with this issue. Thanks so much!!
