Charlotte Area Dress Help

Hi everyone,
I am getting married in Davidson this coming November but live in Texas! I will be in the Charlotte area for less than a week next month to plan the whole thing- plus find a dress. I am a street-size 16, so I know I will need a plus size- dress- any ideas on places that have quite a few plus-size samples to try on? I DO NOT plan to order a dress online, and am avoiding Davids at all costs. Anyone know anything about Poffie girls or Hopes bridal in Kannapolis? Any help would be appreiciated!

    I don't know anything about the Charlotte area, but out of curiosity, is there a reason why you can't dress your dress where you live? I'm planning my wedding from across the country so I know how furstrating it can be and I thought if you could get your dress where you currently live it would be one less thing to worry about.

    I would recommend Hope's. I've worked with several plus size brides who were able to find dresses there.  Good luck!

    I would recommend Classic Bride and Formal in Davidson...They have wonderful customer service also! They have average sizes to be about 12 or 14....but they can work with you. Some dresses I didn't fit into and they put a panel in the back to give an idea

    Sorry I know this may be kinda late but I got my dress at Poffe Girls and they've been amazing!!! They were a recommendation and I've recommended them since to a few friends.
