I know we are all more than a year out of saying our "I do's" but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun planning, discussing, ranting or anything else that comes to mind!

So I will be coming at this group with a daily question in hopes to get this group going againWink


What are your colors and why did you pick them?

Ours are violet, kiwi and espresso! We saw an orchid with these colors and fell in love, lol

    Red and black.  Red is my favorite color and we both liked the combo for the wedding!

    Those both sound like awesome palettes :)

    We haven't picked our official colors! Waiting til I see the reception venue to make the final cut - but I recently fell in love with a bouquet with white, dark blue, dark purple, and pinks... so this is what I'm going for at the moment. I love blue and want it in my wedding but I've been to so many classic blue and white/green weddings lately that I want to do something different.

    </div><div>Sounds awesome, but you could go the peacock route! It has the deep blue and purple that you're looking for with that vibrant green! It woulbe beautiful and there are a variety of wedding decorations that include peacock colors!     <div>I adore the palette!!!!! If we didn't pick our colors, those would probably be runner up! A lot of people aren't really feather fans and that's cool! You would probably look at me like I was crazy about the "something blue" shoes I wanted. There "OUT THERE WITH FEATHERS" in terms of looks, but I like fun stuff. I ditched the idea though because I am more of a boot girl! I don't understand how I can be born and raised in the "Sunshine State", but wear boots like it's below 0 lol... </div><div>

    ALL those colors sound amazing!!

    The wedding colors for our wedding are Marine Blue and Ivory with a hint of silver.

    The reason i picked marine blue is because not only is it my favorite color, but my FI and I met working at Soarin, and I have always loved that shade of blue...yes, marine blue is darker but it's still a nice color!

    Ivory is because the wedding dress is ivory ;)

    and the hint of silver is for a little something extra...like glitter on the table to look like "Stardust", a silver charm on the bouquets, etc :)

    Exactly! and I am not sure who here has seen the movie Stardust, but it's such a romantic and funny movie, and there's an amazing quote in there. "You know what the captain really whispered to me on the boat? He said my True Love was right infront of my eyes...and he was right." and at that point when the guy said that, the girl was glowing and beaming with ahppiness and love, that just really touched me and that's why I love that movie and wanted to add something like that in my wedding...

    Deep red, black and gold. I wanted to go with the fall theme, and love how fall colored flowers look with the deep red. I like black bc it is classic and gold because I wanted some sparkle and my venue and church have a lot of gold so thought it would look nice. My venue has large windows onto a lake and trees and all you will see out the windows is the colors of the leaves and the lake with the fountians. I thought all those colors would go nice with the natural backdrop I have.

    Also I love your colors. Love Blue, really wanted to do it, but it didnt work with the venue and the time of year. And I love silver, every wedding needs a little sparkle here and there!
