Need more for my centerpieces?

I am going to have 3 cylinder vases (the highest one is about 12" tall) with white flowers  in them, floating candles on top with purple stones in the bottom. I am going to set it all on a mirror and have votives around it. I think it will be pretty but does it need more color? Im worried because my wedding color is lavender, but the only purple thing on the table will be the stones. What else could I add that's purple?

I think it sounds just right! If you want more purple, add ribbon around the vases.

My colors are shades of purple, lavendar is a must too! What about using purple flower petels on the tables. I'm thinking of doing half floral and half candle centerpieces and the candle centerpieces will be surrounded by purple rose petals. Or you could do a purple overlay on the linens (if you already have white linens?). If you do favors, you could also incorporate purple into those. FI and I are doing crossword puzzles, and they will be purple and white or ivory (whichever color my gown is).

get a bunch of purple mokara orchids and break off a few blooms to put around the base... awesome!

Why don't you set one up and see for yourself?  I think it's most helpful to do that!  Just from your description though, I think it sounds pretty.  You could do purple flowers instead.  My favorite submerged flower is a purple tulip.

You don't need to add anything, it sounds lovely.

I'm not sure that it needs more (I haven't seen a picture), but you could:

*use a purple placemat under the mirror so it will add a little more color and frame everything
*add some purple petals or gems around the vase
*use purple votives or votive holders
    * Use purple card stock for table numbers, menus, escort cards or placecards
