Orlando Area Caterers

Hello all.
I am looking for a caterer in the Orlando area.  We are looking for someone that can do a cocktail hour, plated dinner, and alcohol for about $40/person (including tax/tip).  Do you think that this is possible?  If you can please suggest caterers you know (or think) can do this for us I would really appreciate it.  Thank you!

My budget is in that range, but we are not planning on a cocktail hour and we are providing our own alcohol, but have to pay setup fees. I have done some research, but not made any final decisions. From what I've found, your budget will probably be a pretty big stretch. Most caterers quoted about $22-25pp for dinner alone, plus about $5-7pp bar setup fees (no alcohol included), plus a bartender fee (generally about $30 an hour per bartender or $100-150 per bartender for the night) plus 6.5% tax and 18% service fees. It also depends on your venue and what caterers are approved for that venue and whether you can bring in your own alcohol. If you are expecting the caterer to provide alcohol for you, I'm pretty sure that's not really realistic unless you can find a caterer that's not one of the more well known ones. THAT BEING SAID, do your own research. Most caterers will try to work with you within reason. The venue is a big factor in your caterer though because most only have a few caterers that can serve at the venue, so if you haven't researched that, do that first. Good luck!

I am using Puff n Stuff.  I LOVE them! They can work with your price range as long as you tell them up front.

I hear Cuisiners is pretty good! We're using Arthur's because that's who my family has always used... but I don't think I would go to them with a small budget.  :)

I highly recommend Big City Catering.  They're amazing and work with various budgets.  I referred them to a friend that is using them in her August wedding.

I don't know about your $40 per person, but I'm sure they could do a quote for you.

    Good luck!
