My dress is in!! But it's up in MI and I am not so I probably won't be able to see it for another 3 weeks

I did an AW last week that my dress is in, but this week my AW is that I get to pick it up on Saturday! :-D

I also solved the whole dilemma of 'how am I going to keep myself from playing dress up in it everyday' by deciding to send it home with my mother. That way, I'll have to drive 2.5 hours to play dress up.

Invitations went out on Monday and I've already had several people say they were received and comment on how great they are! We did have one friend send us a picture of the invitation burned half to pieces. Really, REALLY weird. But, so far, that's been the only USPS disaster, so I'm keeping the fingers crossed.

My "aww": Friday my bff/MOH is coming into Michigan. I haven't seen her since before me and FI became engaged and we've been doing all WR stuff via email, facebook and phone. I can't wait to see her!! Saturday we are looking for BM dresses and she sees mine! (she's always been brutally honest so I hope she loves it as much as I do!)

I know, it was pretty crazy! I didn't even think about calling the post office...I just chalked it up to one bad one in the bunch. I have no idea how something catches on fire...Maybe my sparkly cards and pockets pocket was just too flammable for their machine :-)

My AW is NWR, but FI interviewed for a job yesterday and they called him later last night to offer him the job! He's starting work in about 15 minutes! SO HAPPY!

I also won a gas gift card yesterday from some random survey I filled out. Yesterday was AWESOME!

My WR AW is that I'm going back to Bombshell Bridal to try on more dresses this weekend and I WILL find my dress! I already have a "back up" dress, but I just have a good feeling about the new dresses they got in.

I called my reception venue to RSVP for our taste testing, and my old manager told me that she talked to the owner and she told him she was going to give us a discount on meal prices and throw in appitizers and pizza because I used to work for her.

I have been having a very rough few weeks and when she told me that I cried. That will save us a good chunk of money, and it was very nice to hear good news when all I have been hearing is bad news lately.

I bought my dress this weekend.

It was SO fun to shop with my closest ladies, including my little neice. The experience was amazing and I love love love my dress!
