Feeling a little discouraged and frustrated

Ladies,

My fiance still hasn't provided me with his finalized guest list and addresses so that our save the dates can be sent out. I really am annoyed beyond words that everytime I speak with him about it "it's getting done" "i'm almost finished" "this is really hard" or "i want to get them done by the end of..."

I don't know what the H E double hockey sticks to do anymore. How much more can I ask him for it without doing it myself. These things were supposed to be out LAST MONTH. I am entering the 5 month mark for my wedding date!

I hate to tell you this, but do it yourself.

At least that's what I had to do. I had to break out the laptop, trap Fi in our home office, and make him sit there and go line by line to finish the guest list. Yes, he tried to escape, but I would not let him leave until we finished it.

HELLO!!!! have we met??? I am going through the exact same thing. I found his not completed list this morning under a pile of papers. I am so irritated with him right now. I am at the point where I am going to send out my STD's to my people on my list and then hand him his stack and let him handle his.

You may just have to grab his phone and start calling folks yourself. Sometimes when you need stuff done (and done right), you just gotta do it yourself...especially when you're dealing with men. Just like with our wedding website, I already have all my details filled out and FI is just taking his sweet little time....I've been telling him we need to get it done b4 we order the STDs!!!

Awwwwwwwww, take a deep breath!

Ditto PP's advice. Sometimes when things are not being done right you have to do it yourself. Ask him if he would like you to help him so that it can be done and finished. Maybe that might work? If not, you may have to handle that part and keep it moving. Good luck.

We had the same problem with his folks. They dragged their feet until i told them that if i didnt have it in hand within 24 hours that their family and friends wont be invited at all... Dont you know that i had it 15 minutes later. sometimes you gotta light a fire under that arsse......

I had the SAME problem with FI. It was so frustrating and I eventually sent out the STD's to my family and friends (since they needed it the most because they would be the ones traveling) and I just sent his about a week or so later when he finally got his list to me. Thank goodness I started asking him about his list a few months before I wanted to get them out because if I had waited I would have never gotten them out.

Join the club hun...I'm having the same problem now..my list is done addresses & all..I've been asking for his parents list for months!. Once I told him whoever is not on the list by next week is bootied out! lol He moved quick fast & said him & his mom finally get theirs 2gether. I was NOT going to do it for them (we) you have enuff on the plate as is! Get the matches out girl..start lighting fires! lol

Girrrrl its men! I gave FI 2 weeks to give me his list, he failed to comply asked for 3 more days, nothing. So I kindly mailed out our engagment announcement picture to my family and friends and his momma. I got the "cant believe you did that!" then his momma called and asked him why the hockey sticks he didnt mail it to all his aunt and uncles, etc. Guess who's list was in my inbox the next day?
