So we're getting married on 5/25/13
I am hoping to join the FB group on which I imagine I will be a bit more active... it's hard to remember to sign onto the knot everyday, and sometimes seeing that countdown really freaks me out.
A bit about us: we've been together for nearly 10 years and got engaged this September. Our schedules are such that we have a 2 week block to get married in in the spring, or else plan a wedding with literally NO TIME otherwise. So we're having a short engagement (nbd since we've been together so long, but logistically painful).
Our venue is at a lodge/camp/mountaintop in NH. It's been the source of some drama as family became disappointed that we were going to go off-beat and rustic, but hopefully we're past that now (hopefully...). We've gone from expecting 150 guests to now aiming for 80 which will work much better in the more intimate setting. We don't have wedding colors perse but kind of going with salmon/coral/blush/nude muted tones, with gold accents. We've got an (most importantly) AMAZING WEDDING PLANNER, venue, photographer, caterer, DRESS!, DJ. So we've made some progress
Oh but to complicate things we're planning the wedding from 400 miles away. Again, thank goodness for our WP!
