I'm all over the place with things I'm trying to get done so sorry for all the questions today! We agreed to do a classic/traditional processional and modern/upbeat recessional to get the party going. We aren't getting married in a church so no rules aobut our music. Problem is...I don't like most of the traditional stuff! Only thing I like so far is Canon in D and a youtube video I heard of a saxophone "Here Comes the Bride." I can't find wedding saxophone music anywhere and am stuck on what other songs to use. So questions:
Anyone ever seen/heard where to get saxophone wedding music?
Would it be weird if we went with instrumentals of modern music (not pop, but like Frank Sinatra or Harry Connick Jr) and then switched to Canon in D?
What are you using (type or specific song)?
Thanks! I just don't want ceremony music regret and since nothing excites me I feel like I'm just going to settle which sucks.
Re: Ceremony music? (sorry if thise dbl posts, TK ate my first one)
Its actually the song played in one of Wagner's operas when a couple is being ushered into a bridal chamber, and is also known in some circles as the 'March of the Prostitute' hahaha
I am still undecided what we're doing, but we're thinking of One Republic's Good Day for our recessional
That's right, I blog! - The Domestic Soldier
We haven't even begun to think about ceremony music. We need to find us a DJ first, hopefully that gets accomplished this week!
