A couple of suggestions for 2010 brides from an old Knottie :)

Hey girls,

Thought I'd pass along some of my vendor references--I got married a couple years ago, and the knot references helped me out a ton.  Every once ih a while I check back here, though I mostly lurk on babble.com now, so here goes:
DJ Frank Marsden Jr.  He was excellent, affordable, likable, and took requests like a champ.  http://www.friendlyentertainment.net/index.php
Videographer:  www.marylandvideographer.com Bill is a sweetie, and made us an incredible video. Worth every penny.
Caterer:  Chef's Expressions.  Yes, the food was killer, but boy did we pay for it.
Photographer:  Heather Coburn at www.heathercoburn.com We were so pleased with our pictures.  Plus, she was fun to work with, and affordable.  We heard about her from friends who were also over the top about their album.

Anyway, that's all, we didn't use a limo, oh flowers was Dutch Connection and they were great, but a little expensive.  All in all we did pretty good--no horror stories or anything.  Oregon Ridge was where the reception was, and the staff there were a little snooty (and they ate most of my wedding cake!) but the price was good and the view is pretty nice there.
Hope this help some of y'all out there.

Erin
