Grand Exit Ideas

Since we are getting married at a yacht club we are having our exit onto a small boat that will take us to our hotel which is also on the water. I am trying to decide on whether or not I want the guests to throw or wave things at us. The issue is that there isn't amazing lighting for bubbles or anything. I have considered ribbon wands (below) but other than that I am stumped. Ideas?

Edit: We are not allowed to have sparklers! =(

I like the idea of ribbon wands. Where do you get them?? I think thats very unique!!

I have found them for about $.90 each on Etsy. I saw a breakdown awhile ago where they found it was almost equal cost to make them yourself and I just don't have time so I will probably order them.
