Escort/Place cards question

Hey y'all! For those that are doing place/escort cards how are you writting your guests names? Are you doing "Mr. John Smith" or are you doing it just "John Smith?"

We'll probably give everyone their own escort card and keep it informal - John Smith. Although I'm dreading trying to make 250 of them.

we are doing just first name... such as Dan & Staci, Dan & Melanie, Alex & Amelia * by couple or single if need be

last name is to complicated to put like Dan Fortin & Melanie Levesque... even if they are married in Quebec we keep our own last names when we marry
so just easier to use first

I was planning on making them formal: Mr. and Mrs. John Smith. We will be doing 1 escort card per couple. I found really cute ones on Etsy that I will order in a few weeks and she will put them together, print them and send them to me!

only an escort card (no place card) and using john smith.

what are you guys using for escort cards? I'm don't know whether to use the taller tent cards (2) or the longer ones (1). Wish there was an size option in the middle of the two. I am doing a mail merge with the table number under their name, and the meal choice in the upper right, and the wedding 'logo' somewhere.

any suggestions?

Depends on how formal your wedding is.
Our wedding reception card said "Formal attire requested" so our escort cards will say Mr. David Smith or Mrs. Susan Smith
David is more formal than Dave. Same with Susan vs. Sue and Mr./Mrs. vs. no title.

Both are wonderful. Just keep it consistent with how you addressed your invites.
