So, FI wanted to get all of the groomsmen attire at Men's Warehouse because it is less expensive and more convenient for all his guys. My girls are going to be in green, and I was hoping that I could find vests/ties there that compliment the green my girls are wearing (I know they don't have to match perfectly). But none of them go!!
Do you think it would look bad if we had the guys wear black vests with white shirts and then we buy them a green tie that compliments the dresses?
Have you guys planned out the groomsmen attire? What is your FI wearing? Are you doing anything to make the Best Man stand out from the other guys?

Also, I think FI really wants to have them wear green. It's one of those things he's kinda set on.

The groom's attire is stressing me out! lol
I've told my FI to decide on something he likes or go to the store he has in mind but you know men... lol. Luckily it's just him and his brother, and my son of course. I'd rather have formal suits than tuxes tho.... you can get some really nice suits now with some very fashionable styles.
Groom - Black tux, black shirt, black vest, white tie
Groomsmen - Black tux, red shirt, black vest, black tie
Then to match the bridesmaids more
Man of Honour - Black tux, red shirt, red vest, red tie
Right now he's saying no to doing something different for his Best Man, but that might change lol

Groom - Black tux, black shirt, black vest, white tie Groomsmen - Black tux, red shirt, black vest, black tie Then to match the bridesmaids more Man of Honour - Black tux, red shirt, red vest, red tie Right now he's saying no to doing something different for his Best Man, but that might change lol

I love when guys get into the attire choosing. FI, begged me not have have the guys not match and look like they were going to the prom. Which is perfectly fine with me, I thought it was hilarious that he came up with that. So we're going with charcoal grey tux/suit, white shirts and "gun metal" vest and ties with navy dresses. He'll be wearing charcoal grey and white.
FOG will wear his own suit -- he'll just have a matching boutonniere.
Finding the guys a green tie sounds like a solid option -- you could also just have them wear blac. You can never go wrong with black!
Just because you saw it on Four Weddings, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
I think it would be fine to do the grey or black vests with a green tie!

I have a little bit. I've been to Moores and Tip Top; I saw some really nice stuff and I have a $30 off coupon for Moores. FI wants something "nicer". He has 2 custom made suits from Thailand so he's spoiled lOL

Yeah we actually did it a few months ago. We happened to be in town, FI really wanted to look at the available options, and they ended up having a sale so we put a little bit down that day. We haven't even told the groomsmen all the info yet because it's so early, but it's nice to have one more big check taken care of.
