DJ/flower/photo Recomendations for Wilmington

I am starting to book appointments to meet with venders and looking for recommendations.  I want a DJ that's going to keep the party moving all night.  I'm from NY so fist pumping is not out of the question.  I don't want people to leave the dance floor and when they do they will have sweat dripping off their face. 

Our photography budget is 1500.  We met with Indigo Silver yesterday and although they take  beautiful pictures they are way out of our budget.  We have an appointment with Bill Parr on Tuesday.  Has anyone worked with him?

Not sure what our flower budget is because honestly I don't know what flowers cost.  I want to use white and yellow daisies and some sunflowers. 

Any help would be great.  Thank you guys. :)

    We're getting married in Kure Beach next May so I may be able to help you.

    Look into Aria Images Photography. The photographer Melody did our engagement photos for $250 and we're getting 5 hours of wedding coverage for $1,500. She is AMAZING! He style is airy, natural, and light. We love our engagement photos and can't wait until she does our wedding. I can't recommend her enough!

    We're using Absolute Best DJ. I can't personally say if he's the rocking DJ you're looking for since we haven't had our reception yet but he did come recommended by our day-of coordinator. He was also really well priced - we're getting an hour of his wireless beach wedding system plus our reception covered for $700. Plus, we got a 10% discount by paying the bill in full so it really only cost us $630. Not a bad deal at all.

    I'm just starting to look into flowers so no recommendations just yet. Good luck!

    I haven't looked into flowers yet either, so I'd LOVE to hear some recs from other knotties on that topic. Every time I think I checked something off the list I think of 3 more to add . . .

    We just booked with Bridget after reading recs from other knotties (thanks girls!) and we are THRILLED to work with her. She's based in the Triangle but travels all over (I'm getting married in OBX). She's for sure within your budget and does excellent stuff. We were having a really hard time finding someone who didn't do stuffy posed beach shots so she fit with us since we wanted more candids of us and our guests/family.     I guess I can't help with DJ either since I'm getting married elsewhere. But, on the subject, where in Wilmington are you getting married? It's SUCH a pretty place to get married! It reminds me of a smaller version of Charleston in some areas :)

    i just got married in Emerald Isle last week and our DJ was from Wilmington.  we used Forever Productions http://www.foreverproductions.com/   

    they did an awesome job of getting everyone up and dancing.  i pretty much only gave him songs for the ceremony, first dance, intro. and then asked him to play whatever got people up.  that is exactly what he did!  even at the end of the night when a bunch of us jumped in the pool, he kept playing and we kept dancing.  :)   we loved Rob and we got a lot of comments from guests about what great music they were playing!

    can't help with photography or flowers since we used friends for that.  good luck!

    Hello,

    I can refer the photographer that did my wedding. They were awesome and was very reasonable and had great packages. Sweet family business and they will travel outside of Charlotte.
