I've been trying to put things into high gear the last couple of weeks, because I lost some planning time when I started my new job. I also want to get as much done as I can, so that I can be as stress free as possible in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
In the last 2 weekends, I have:
-made our reservation and chosen our menu at the restaurant for the rehearsal dinner
-finalized and paid off our cake
-decorated our card birdcage
-assembled our favors
-ordered all materials for the centerpieces and most other decor
-every tux has been ordered w/measurements given (thanks to FI!)
-had our flower girl measured for her dress
-began decorating our mason jar votives (we'll have about 75 throughout the reception room)
-smaller things like ordered FI's tie, designed place cards, etc.
-ALL INVITES ARE ADDRESSED, STAMPED, AND READY TO BE MAILED!
I am super excited about the invites, because they have definitely been the most time consuming. They are going in the mail 8.15 for our 9.20 RSVP date.
