DJ Prices?

I'm looking for a DJ in the philly area, and it is so hard to find one that's not super cheesy or expensive.  We're looking to hopefully find one that is under $1,000.  Any suggestions/recommendations?  Thanks ladies!

    I'm using Center Stage Entertainment - $900 for 5 hours. I chose them because they're not cheesy and were highly recommended by my reception venue.

    I'm using Schaffer sound... 5 hours for $795... i can tell you after my wedding how they were...but i heared great reviews about them...

    We are using celebration sound. Voted Best in Philly. 700 for 5 hours. Saw him at a wedding, lots of dancing the whole night and the music wasn't so loud that you had to scream to your guests to be heard.

    We are using Ralph Antonelli - Antonelli Entertainment. He did FI's sister's and cousin's weddings and is doing FSIL's in September as well. in the 700-750 range for our 5 hour reception. It's funny he is like our "family dj" now that we are all using him, but we chose him because he was so good at cousin's wedding last August, we thought it was better to choose someone who we had seen and liked in person!

    We are using Futurescapes Entertainment.  We are paying about $900 but we are also getting lighting and a ceremony for that price.  We liked him when we met him.
