DJ Recommendations

Hi Ladies,

I just found out that Jay Edwards was booked on our wedding date...does anyone have any suggestions for another DJ?

Thanks!

I agree with Britt1406 White Rose is amazing!! but a bit out of our budget. We are thinking of going with Al Dee productions :)

Depends on what your looking for?

I am into the non-wedding style Dj's I just want our reception to be a huge party. Not your typical wedding MC's etc. I want it to be like a crazy frat party cause were going to have half the guest crazy hispanics who love to drink and dance it up to salsa/merengue etc and the other half is Italian and just as crazy. Haha so we went with Tagas Event and Production for DJ and Up-Lighting. Bryan is super young and modern and we cliqued best with him. And FH and I and all our friends are in our early 20's so he's perfect.

White Rose seems nice if you are looking for typical wedding DJ for a formal event.

I really wanted to use Soundwave bc I know they have bilingual DJ's and that would have been perfect for us...but despite their great reviews, they were very rude and snooty in the e-mails they replied back to me with and that comepletey threw me off and I did not even bother using them. But i wouldn't rule them out at they seem to be very liked by TONS of brides who have used them...

Out of curiousity, when is your wedding?  I am interested in Jay Edwards, but am not quite to DJ yet.  Just wondering how far in advance he is booking up already.  =)

I do not recommend Jay with Tagas; I didn't get a good vibe from him and he was iffy with the music we wanted played. For me, he was also quite expensive :P GL!

Hi Lily!!!!!!!!! (it's jeannie) :) I just saw you on here.

We LOVED Steve with Power Entertainment.  He threw in free uplighting too.

We used Les and Wendy from Soundwave and were thrilled with the results!  They had the party jumping from the beginning to the very last dance of the night.  We loved working with them.

We used White Rose and loved them!!!  My Husband is very picky about his music, and I warned Jeff about this.  They were wonderful, they played his favorite music during dinner but played more popular music during the reception.  Additionally, they have wonderful lighting packages and will work on prices with you.
