I created one on E-vite and will send it out to those who have email. For my FI's grandmother, we will just call her to let her know or have FMIL update her on details.
I am just using word of mouth. But I am also only including the wedding party and parents. I think they would be useful if you are inviting OOT guests.
I am because I enjoy making stuff like that. Although, I don't think they are a necessity. BTW, thanks for the heads' up on the zazzle sale. I'll have to check it out!
I am only because my FSIL is organizing the dinner. She loves organizing parties/get togethers so the RD will probably be a little more "fancy" than what we planned on doing.
If we had organized the RD, we would have done the evite.
Typically you can spread word via mouth, most of those invited already know they are invited. FMIL's SIL offered to take care of our RD invites but if she hadn't we wouldn't have had any and I didn't care.
Congrats on the check- and to answer your question, we will be sending out actual RD invites too! (though I haven't decided on them or ordered them yet- probably should get on it!)
Love those invites! FMIL is handling the rehearsal dinner and I'm not sure if she is planning on sending out invitations. I should probably figure that out soon, haha. If she does then I might have to pass yours along. They're so cute!
