Wedding Food Poll

1) How much is your wedding feast going to cost?

2) What types of food are you having?

3) Catered in, going out, or DIY?

4) How many people will it feed?

1) How much is your wedding feast going to cost?
     We're guessing around $500ish.

2) What types of food are you having?
The menu has everything from various seafood dishes to steak/chicken/burgers/pastas. We're going to the Sunset Coastal Grille in Port St. Joe, FL

3) Catered in, going out, or DIY?
Since it's a small beach reception, we're going to a local restaurant and letting people order whichever entree off of the menu they want. We decided to do this so we didn't have to even think about anything, just show up and pay. No decorating a hall, no renting chairs and linens, no centerpieces, no nothing.

4) How many people will it feed?
We're having roughly 20 people there.

They didn't have you where I come from...never knew the best was yet to come...

    1) How much is your wedding feast going to cost?
         It's around $40-$50 a person

    2) What types of food are you having?
We're having a carving station, shrimp and grit station, and pasta station. We're also having heavy hors d'oeuvres and a raw bar.

    3) Catered in, going out, or DIY?
It's catered but our menu is 100% local and seasonal so I'll have to pick up some things from local farms and drop it off. Our caterer doesn't usually use local food so they don't know where to purchase it.

    4) How many people will it feed?
         We're expecting around 100

It was $135 per person, but that included having the ceremony onsite, cocktail hour with 8 butler passed hors d'ouevres and a cheese and fruit display, open bar all evening, our wedding cake, champagne toast, onsite wedding coordinator, all gratuities, basically it was an all-inclusive package for the reception.

    2) What types of food are you having? We had 4 stations: a carving station with prime rib, ham, and turkey, a pasta station, a summer grille station, and a tuscan station. We had no issues with lines and it was beautifully displayed and attended by the chefs. Our guests were able to choose from a wide variety of foods and had the options to get as much as they want and go back up for more which was great.
