  Not weird at all!  I think it would be really cute if you had 3 wear that dress and the other 3 wear a different dress, especially if they lined up alternating dress styles in pictures and when they stand with you at the altar (or wherever you're getting married).  Example:  dark blue, light blue, dark blue, light blue, dark blue, light blue.. or long, short, long, short, long, short.
  
  If you want them to look more matchy, maybe pick a similar color or the same material or length for the second dress, that's probably what I would do to keep the look more cohesive.  But I think it would look fine even if the two dresses were very different, so long as they were both equally nice and had the same level of formality.

  Have your bridesmaids tried on this dress to see if it works on any of them? Is it in everyone's budget?

  Have your girls tried on that style before? Did they like them? Don't just pick something they absolutely hate.
  
  If they love them and can afford them; then you can have the other 3 in a different style.

  Hi, you could go to JenJenHouse and find the similiar color of the 3 dresses.
  
  I have bought several dresses from it's site and they are gorgeous.
