Photographer Recommendations

Hi girls! We finally have our date set and the contracts for our ceremony and reception sites so now we're looking for a photographer. I'm looking for someone that will work with another shooter, give me all rights to imgages, edit the images, does the engagement session, 8 or 9 hours, has more of a photojournalistic style. We would like to stay around 2-2,500 but would look up to about 3,000 if we absolutely love them. Any ideas?

The ones I have briefly looked at online are: Render, Thomas & Erika, Meg Cooper, Callie V, Studio 220, and Wilson Whitaker.

We're using Vince with Simple Impressions: http://www.simpleimpressions.com/ . We fell in love with his work as it reminds us of W pictorials. Had our engagement session last September and are so excited for the shots he gets on our wedding day.

Vince is also professional but laid back and made us feel extremely comfortable during our session. He's also quick in responding whenever we've contacted him.

I booked Render. Honestly, her portfolio was the most impressive out of all the photogs' websites I looked at and we clicked with her instantly when we met with her. She's upped her prices since we booked her- but Britt's worth it.

We are using Ben Johnson Photography. He is a friend of ours, but he does amazing stuff. Reasonably priced and his wife is our second shooter. We are getting a deal, so not sure what is actual prices are though.

Callie V was really great about getting back to me quickly with information, but she was out of our price range.

I emailed Meg Cooper 3 times and never once got a response from her.

We are going with Elise from Elisabeth Ann Photography. Her work is amazing, and she is really sweet - I felt comfortable with her from the very first mintue we talked.

We are using Harvest Moon Photography - they are a duo and do everything you are looking for and run around $2,000. We love working with them and our engagement pictures turned out awesome! They have a pretty good gallery of pictures on their Facebook page - I'd highly recommend them!

We are using Jenna Sefkow: http://www.jennasefkowphotography.com Her prices are really reasonable, we liked her style and my fiance and I both thought she took great photos of "normal" people. We also liked how easy going she seems, which hopefully will make my fiance relax a bit in front of the camera!
