Hey y'all! So, I've decided I'd like to try to start wearing a light sunblock on my face every day, like the dermatologists recommend. I have fairly sensitive skin and I'm usually a Clinique girl (the only thing I put on my face on a daily basis is a little of their lotion, the oil-free version).
I definitely don't want anything super heavy/sticky. Funny thing is, Clinique has a sunblock for the face, but I don't like it. It's tinted, like liquid foundation, and kind of gunky. (I did buy it kind of a long time ago, though, so maybe what they have now is better...?)
Anyway, I was hoping you ladies might have some ideas for me. I'd like to keep it under $10 if I can.
TIA!

Still here and still fabulous!

Depending on exactly how sensitive your skin is, I would be extra careful with the anti-aging type ones. I'm allergic to Retin-A (along with other things), which is in a lot of the anti-aging type ones.
I would go into Sephora or something and just tell them your concerns. Sometimes I have been able to get samples of things when I tell them I have really sensitive skin. Usually with my skin the reaction (stinging, burning) happens immediately after putting on the product, so I know right away. At least with samples you would be able to try a few out without needing to buy a bunch of different ones.

Marley, I also am in the market for a moisturizer with sunscreen as I recently changed my foundation and it doesn't have sunscreen in it (my other one did).
I have oily/combination/break-out-prone skin and usually use Aveda products.
I recently ordered the following from sephora.com:
<a href="http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml%3B$sessionid$CRQZES3DT05XYCV0KQLQX0Q;jsessionid=CRQZES3DT05XYCV0KQLQX0Q?id=P282914&categoryId=B70">http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml%3B$sessionid$CRQZES3DT05XYCV0KQLQX0Q;jsessionid=CRQZES3DT05XYCV0KQLQX0Q?id=P282914&categoryId=B70</a>
and
<a href="http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml%3B$sessionid$CRQZES3DT05XYCV0KQLQX0Q;jsessionid=CRQZES3DT05XYCV0KQLQX0Q?id=P276330&categoryId=B70">http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml%3B$sessionid$CRQZES3DT05XYCV0KQLQX0Q;jsessionid=CRQZES3DT05XYCV0KQLQX0Q?id=P276330&categoryId=B70</a>
(I know they are both a little more than you were wanting to spend.)
I have not received them yet, but I will let you know what I think once I get them and use them. I am suggesting them because I have done some pretty extensive research and they both seem to be quality products.
The "Supergoop" brand had a great price for the amount of product you receive and I liked that it was higher in SPF. The Sephora brand had great reviews, though. So, I bought them both because Sephora has a GREAT return policy. Basically, as long as you have your receipt, you can return the item. Bath and Body Works also has a great return policy. You could use the entire product and return it to them and they will give you your money back.
So, I definitely recommend going to one of these kinds of stores because you can try different products and aren't out any money if they don't work for you.
However, the CVS stores in my area do give a refund for cosmetic items that have been used if they don't work for you. I don't know if it's limited to certain products, though.
Good luck!
