Any suggestions. I've only been to Mariellas for friends weddings as a bridesmaid.

    Stylish Impressions in Farmington, that is where I found my dress!!! There are so many choices, and all very reasonably priced.  I also looked at Mariella's, but didn't have the best experience there. I originally told the sales rep what I was looking for and what my budget was and I tried on a ton of dresses there, and fell in love with one of them, even my mom cried!! However, that dress was over 2x my budget! It was really upset, but it was all ment to be as I found myself at Stylish Impressions finding a dress I loved even more.  Good luck!!

    I love Mariella's.  They also do discounts for the bride, BM's and mom's if everyone buys there.  I've gotten dresses from when I was a BM there and have had wonderful experiences.

    ditto Stylish Impressions...I got my dress there and all the girls are very sweet.  When I went there I tried on 10+ dresses....when I went to Mariella's apparently they only had TWO in my style and budget.

    It depends on your budget... I found Mariellas to have a wide variety of sizes/styles/prices.  Although if you don't mind traveling and spending just a lil more I would recommend White Dress by the Shore to absolutely ANYONE.  I got my dress there and the service is absolutely top notch- you will not find better in CT.

    Alfred Angelo does not fo alterations and they wi not tell you that until you physically picking up your gown to take home. I read few posts somewhere that brides assumed a big store like that would offer alterations but were disappointed they did not. I'm going Wednesday to Bridal Bells they are awesome and have tons of different sizes. Good luck!
