**MDPHD** - lace covered votive (PIP)

After attempting spray adhesive, which was a complete mess and very time consuming per candle, I switched to hot glue which is working out nicely.  Quick and easy:)

carly - this is exactly what I want to do  - they look amazing!

If you could tell me where you got the lace that would be fantastic.  and is that scalloped edge part of the original lace or did you cut it? That's definitely the look I want!

(and if you are selling them post-wedding I might just buy them from you and save myself the trouble!)

Thanks, ladies!  I am a details person so it's these pretty little types of things that make me happy:)  I found the lace on ebay but the seller I purchased from doesn't currently have anything for sale.  I did think I was receiving the lace with scallops but it had several inches of edging that I had to trim, which honestly only took about 15-20 min for 15 yards.  I also saw some pretty lace on etsy.com so you may be able to find something there.

I'm sure I will be looking for a new home for them after the wedding.  The only thing is they are filled votives so they may be used up.  Another votive might fit though.  I'm down to 3 1/2 months so I can let you know how they look afterwards! :)

Those look great!!!  I wanted to do something like these and put labels on them to use as my escort cards.  I'd actually be interested in buying them too if Mdphd doesn't end up taking them!  Or, Mdphd, my wedding is a couple months after yours, so maybe you could pass them along again and we'll get a lot of use out of these!  Let me know! :-)
