Pinellas County Brides Question!

This is kind of a random question but can anyone think of a good place for a Bachelor party around here? Preferably 18 and up (one of our GMs is only 20). Not a club or strip club, just a fun bar.

I know this is odd to ask on here but we're from Oklahoma so my FI has no idea where to go! Thanks! :)

Also, we're technically getting married in Dunedin, so the closer the better, but Tampa/St. Pete is fine too :)

I live in Dunedin.... let's see. For a bachelor party? No clubs...no strip clubs.... hmm. That's tough. Dunedin has TONS of fun bars but I don't know if I'd call them bachelor party worthy! Try the Dunedin Brewery (they even do tours of the brewery on some days if you check their site). Also, there are a lot of beer fests going on all the time so that would be a fun activity. What is the date?

thursday july 14th is when he wants to go! And I originally suggested ybor but my fiance hates clubs :( (which is sad because I like dancing! Lol). The brewery sounds like a good idea though!

Wait -- are you having the party together? Confused! There's WAY more than clubs down in Ybor. Lots of dive bars that I love (James Joyce for one, I had my bachelorette party there... well one of the stops! We played beer pong and darts) are down in Ybor. It is kind of ghetto and has trashy clubs but there's way more than that in Ybor.

no no! I was just saying that in the sense that he never wants to go with me :) my MOH already planned mine doing something else! But thanks for the tip about ybor! I grew up here but I've lived my adult life in Oklahoma so when I lived here all I could do was go to the AMC 20 :) lol. But anyway he is definitely a dive bar kind of guy so I'll tell him to look more into ybor! Thanks Krystal!

Okay, not to be super creepy, but, are you the Krystal that was on Bridezillas?

You don't have to say yes if you don't want to but if you are I just wanted to say that  I LOVED your hair!!! It was so cute!! I actually took a picture from the show to my hair dresser for my wedding day hair. (starting to sound even more creepy now...lol) And I promise I didn't think you were very bridezilla-y. It was pretty obvious that the editors were trying to make you look crazy when really that Trolley guy was just super lame! I thought your wedding looked like a ton of fun :)

So anyway, sorry if you're not her! But if you are I just wanted to throw that out there. Thanks again for the advice!

I would suggest Kelly's Chic-a-boom Room, or the Blur nightclub next door:

    "

In the heart of Dunedin's hip little downtown corridor along Main Street (is) the www.kellyschicaboom.com/" target="_blank">complex that comprises Kelly's Restaurant, the Chic a Boom Room, and Blur Nightclub (319-325 Main St., 727-736-0206).  Blur is the dance club, with DJs on weekends, live-music shows, karaoke nights, etc.

The more intimate Kelly's Chic a Boom Room is a festive cocktail bar with an extensive martini list as well as an impressive wine list and more than 85 beers available, including eight on tap. You can also dine from the full restaurant menu in the Chic a Boom section, or head next door to Kelly's main restaurant space, where burgers, creative pita pizzas, fruit and cheese plates, crab cakes, and similar enticing, light fare are available. The crowd at these spots is a catch-all of locals and tourists, gays and straights, women and men - expect a fun, age-varied, and easygoing mix."

Or I would suggest Eddie's Bar and Grill - it's in Dunedin with good food and plenty of TVs, plus a game room with pool and darts, etc.

Haha yep-- one and the same. :)

If your man hates clubs, he will hate Chic a Boom & Blur. My husband hates those places and he is an easygoing guy who will go anywhere. Eddie's is a fun alternative though too. Cheap drinkies! :) And, there's no age requirement. Sometimes when the Brewery has a show I've noticed they check IDs for 21+

I've heard good things about Eddies! :)

I went to Drag Queen Bingo at Blur once....it was a total blast! Not sure how he would feel about it there though lol

But thanks for the suggestions girls! I really really appreciate it! I should be able to lead him in some direction now.

I always enjoy hanging out at the House of Beer, or HOB in Dunedin.
