NWR My Family Needs Prayers

Hey Ladies,

I just found out my uncle is having open heart quadruple bypass surgery this weekend. He had a heart catheter this afternoon and they found so much blockage that they won't allow him to leave the hospital until he has the surgery. He's only 42, and- I thought- in fairly good health.
If you could send some extra prayers his way this weekend, they will be much appreciated and needed.
I'm kind of in shock right now, he is very dear to me and one of the last people I'd have expected to be in need of such a major surgery. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

    Thank you ladies so much. I spoke with my mom a little bit ago and he is expected to recover well as he is fairly healthy. His doctor says he has a strong and healthy heart except for this blockage, and the rest of his arteries look clear as well, so he has a good prognosis. He's very lucky they caught this problem now when they can be proactive about it; rather than after he had a heart attack when his heart would have been weakened.
    Please continue to send prayers, positive vibes and good wishes, we are waiting to find out if the surgeon will be able to schedule the surgery for tomorrow or Monday- he is pushing to have my uncle's operation before the holiday weekend is over.
