Hi all! I am interested to know who else has the same wedding date as ours and what you have done so far and have yet to do. We have (if I can remember everything-and these are not in particular order):

1. booked venue
2. buy wedding dress
3. buy jr bridesmaid dress
4. had rings already (heirlooms)
5. bought wedding shoes for me
6. blocked hotel rooms (just yesterday)
7. bought silk flowers to make bouquets for me, sister, and niece
8. no tux/FI is wearing suit he already has
9. booked honeymoon
10. thought about decorations to use for venue
11. have officiant
12. sent STDs

Have NOT:
1. looked at wedding cakes
2. bought decorations for venue
3. sent invites

I'm sure there are lots of things that I'm missing. How about everyone else? We have 80 days left!

Hey date twin!

We have done:
1. venue
2. STDs
2. wedding dress-having alterations done now
3. bridesmaid dresses
4. booked dj, hair and makeup, cake, linens, caterer, florist for bouquets and bouts, my grandpa will marry us
5. wedding shoes
6. blocked hotel rooms
7. bought silk flowers for centerpieces and have put half of them together
8. tuxes tonight
9. booked honeymoon (it's a surprise so I think this has been booked)

Need to:
1. buy invites
2. BM and GM favors
3. card box
4. isle decor (if any)
5. buy liquor

I can't believe we're 80 days away! It's going by so so so fast!!!!

I did forget something!

I've also booked the photographer!! One of the most important things, and I missed it! haha!

And I still need to pick out the BM shoes, buy our rings, AND PICK OUR WEDDING SONG.... I feel stupid for not knowing our song yet!!

So many of us have the same date! Yay!

The venue, menu, are set.
DJ, Photographer, Florist booked and set.
All dresses bought/tuxes rented. I have my shoes.
Almost finished DIY craft projects - flower girl baskets, RB pillow, ceremony decor, Chuppa, Ketubah, Thumprint guest book....
Invites out - getting rsvps already!
Had my cupcake tasting - YUM!
Booked honeymoon
Decided on Ceremony structure and readings, music
Escort cards/favors 75% finished...need to wait for final seating assngments.
wedding rings bought and insured

So many things still to do! Like:
Find/make a big blackboard for program
hair/makeup trials
buy rest of WP gifts and small accessories for flower girls' dresses
finalize rehersal dinner plans
Buy liquor for the bar (newly added item. Ugh!)
researching the honeymoon and getting the marriage liscence is on his list...
get my dress altered.
And probably 50 m ore things....

I feel like I haven't done anything! But at the same time I feel like there's nothing left to do! Anyone else feel that way?

The only things I really have left to do is send the invites. I've just finished addressing them, and now they must go out. Get my dress alterations. And I haven't planned a rehearsal dinner.

I'm a 4/21 bride too. I have gotten A LOT done, but I have a lot left too. Way too much on either list to even think it out, much less type it up.

Get an emcee for the reception
Do seating chart and place cards

After that...I'm done...woohoo...I dont like to wait on things so I don't get stressed...jsut waiting for the RSVP's to come back

Ack! Reading through these shows how much we do for this AND how much is left. I think I'll be more nervous and worrying about little things the closer we get. It sure helps to have you guys to vent with/discuss "trivial" details ( although we know it's not trivial)/ run ideas by/ get advice and suggestions. Just last night FI was saying he was tired of wedding talk and there is something every day. Well he should be glad I have this board to go to or he would really have to hear a lot! Wow! Getting close!

I'm a 4/20 Bride and i'm really feeling in control these days.

We only have a few things left to do....most are up to the venue or can't be done until we get all of our RSVPs back in March.

- order the groom, best man, and 3 ring bearer's shirts online and pick them up khackis from JC Pennys (4 shirts, 4 pants)
- discuss song choices w/ the DJ (venue providing)
- discuss wedding flow/vows with the officiant (venue providing)
- seating chart
- escort cards
- Dress fitting sched for the first week of March!

*Boudoir photo shoot (in 2 weeks!)

*Mail invitations (late Feb)

*Order/buy FG, RB, Usher, and GM gifts (BM gifts purchased)

*Final fitting/dress press/steam

*Decide on some songs like what FI and his mom will dance to, if at all

-Booked: Church, reception (includes caterer), photographer, dj, makeup person, florist, pianst/organist, rehearsal dinner site, day after brunch/gift opening site (my parent's house)
-wedding ceremony planned (just need to ask someone about bringing up the gifts and petitions)
-all of the dresses have been ordered and purchased (mine, MOH, BM, flower girl, FMIL, and my mom)
-save the dates sent
-invitations & rsvp cards ordered
-veil and shoes purchased
-went over flower options and price quote with the florist
-marriage preparation course
-picked songs for the reception

Need to Finish or start
-write triva questions about FI and I for the reception
-purchase/make guest book
-finish/finalize overall timeline
-meet with reception venue to go over menu and do the reception timeline
-meet with the DJ, photographer, and bakery
-rent tuxes
-find a cantor
-figure out transportation

-assemble invitations (on Sunday!) & send them out
-go over the rehearsal dinner menu with FI's parents
